New Microsoft Windows

I got fed up with vista so I decided to download a free evaluation copy of Windows 7. So far it works great. It uses less ram. One thing thing bothers me though. My 64 bit processor is at 100% all the time. I assume Windows 7 requires a faster cpu than dual core 1.9 GHz. At least for the 64 bit version of Windows 7.
